Where I live.
This time of year, its easier to imagine the brown is the ancient lake bottom that existed during the last ice age.
And, no, I dont remember it.
There are no distractions today for continuing the novel scan.

Good day!
The temperature was volatile while hiking yesterday. Layers open, layers closed.
A few snowflakes fell, then disappeared.
Strange to think that where I live was an ancient glacial lake, the shoreline still visible high above the city.

They have a big emphasis on inclusiveness and were very actively part of the fight against gender-based violence. Based on the a quick glance around, there were seemed to be a bunch of blokes at the start of the race who were completely unaware that women can not feel safe running trails. Good day!
Ive hiked in December, but hope to do more.
There wasnt much snow, but it was magical at times & could storm tonight. The sun was disappearing behind the mountains while I was still on the trail, the temperature dropping.
What fun.
Time to jump into the novel scan.

The weather remains a little too warm for snow, which is unusually warm. Not that were receiving rain, anyway.
At least the taller peaks are white.
The novel scan is progressing nicely. Creating my editing system taught me so much.

Good days for finding the light within.
Also good days for accomplishing a lot at home. Like my novel scan. Like my blog post.

Ill pass halfway on the Book4 novel scan after my morning walk.
It was tempting to divert from my novel rotation after publishing Book1, but my approach has served me well.
At its heart, my method is about patience. If I lose that, the standard Ive set declines.
