Were supposed to be 14F (4.4C) above averageagain, our theme this year.
Ive only turned on my heat a handful of times.
I should know better than to have a weak writing plan, even for a novella. Im halfway to fixing that. It feels great!

The weather is unstable, strong winds expected. The meager snow is gone, our temperatures unusually warm.

Yesterday, in my travels, I encountered a woman & her little dog who embodied what the season should be about.
And she didnt even mention the season except to wish me Merry Christmas at the last.
Her compassion so put the commercialism to shame that cried afterwards.

The morning was errands. This afternoon and evening is all about drafting my novella. Im here for it! Over 800 words in the last hour.
So, on the day it wasnt supposed to snowits snowing. Thus far, it isnt sticking, which makes it rain masquerading as snow. How devious!
It is, though, turning my beloved mountains white.
