Trailspotting and my New England rail trail map made the evening news on Boston radio today ..

August 8, 1983: The first climb was a bear, even compared to the rest of the trail in this park. By the time I reached the ridge crest I was exhausted, and I had only come little more than a mile. It was depressing. I had the idea in the back of my mind that one or two days of hiking would restore all the conditioning lost in those few days at home. This was somewhat overoptimistic.

September 29, 1983: A relatively-level ridge walk led to Mountain View Pond. Across the small, crystal-clear lake, Boardman Mountains slopes were aflame with fall colors. The air was very tranquil for autumn, virtually a dead calm. A perfect reflection of Boardman was etched into the lake surface, and each stone of its rocky lakebed was clearly visible well out from the shore.

July 4, 1983: The first half-mile from the hut this morning climbed along the crest of the ridge forming the western rim of the ravine. This led to an interesting summit called Blackrock. It rose above the wooded ridge crest, a huge, barren mound of gray boulders smeared liberally with streaks of green paint.

June 1, 1983: Monday night on the bank of the Nolichucky River had been a time of gentle breezes and soft starlight, but clouds had begun rolling in yesterday morning. By the time I reached the shelter last night they were looking ominous. No rain fell overnight, but day broke gloomy and foreboding.

August 14, 1983: The trail turned into a virtual rock climb straight up the face of a cliff to the top of Barrack Mountain. It was a rather sadistic climb for a backpacking trail, but some open ledges near the summit offered great views to the north and to the south some of the nicest since Shenandoah National Park.

May 26, 1983: After Lovers Leap was some easy woodland hiking before the Appalachian Trail followed a gravel road for a short stretch through some massive, very scenic meadows in a place called Mill Ridge. Years ago, those meadows used to be tobacco fields. I was enjoying the day.
"'The number is not as big as we want it to be, but the fact its happening is huge,' said Brandi Horton from the Rails to Trails Conservancy. 'The administration is understanding in a way we've never seen before the role that active transportation has in helping people get around the places where they live.'"

July 3, 1983: My final twelve miles today were in Shenandoah. The trail inside the park was well-graded and almost completely cleared of overgrowth. I hiked through dignified old forests of stately trees, following the ridgeline for most of the distance. There were a number of good viewpoints.
So like a week ago got a dlc pack for a few games including and the games playing through them they feel super easy to full combo and Im honestly a little disappointed by that but I absolutely adore how they made the djmax characters parody falcom game box art like one of them is cold steel 1 and trails in the sky fc and ys origin are another. That alone was worth the price for me because its so cute and funny it fits their personalities well
